tattoos and diabetes

In order to tattoo Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics, the diabetes needs to be well-managed, under a doctors care, and I require written doctors clearance, in advance. A1C levels need to be below 8 consistently….A1C of 7 or below is optimum. A1C levels of 9 or above, I will not tattoo.
Tattoos will need to be placed close to the torso. No ankles, feet, lower legs, hands or wrists. I also require a blood sugar test result before starting a tattoo. So bring your tester the day of the scheduled appointment 🙂 We will go over the details when you come in for your initial consultation appointment.
